Xinminfu’s growth footprint

The founder, Ms. Xiao Yunzhen, came from a family of educators. In view of the fact that private kindergartens were not yet popular at that time and there were no qualified kindergartens around the school district, Xinmin Kindergarten was established on Children's Day in the 41st year of the Republic of China. Due to the excellent performance of the kindergarten, parents have requested the establishment of an elementary school. In 1945, Taipei City Private Xinmin Elementary School was established with the approval of the Taipei City Government. Subsequently, due to the establishment and expansion of the elementary school, due to insufficient school buildings in 1956, the kindergarten was Enrollment was stopped. In September 1980, the school applied for registration again and resumed enrollment. It was named Taipei City Private Xinmin Elementary School Affiliated Kindergarten. Later, due to the integration of child care in the 100th year of the Republic of China, it was named Taipei City Private Kindergarten Affiliated to Xinmin School Foundation, Taipei City Private Xinmin Elementary School.

Educational philosophy

Our kindergarten upholds the spirit of "education with love", cooperates with the education vision of the Education Bureau, and aims to create a safe, healthy and high-quality learning paradise. Based on the concept of whole-person education, we provide a diversified and diverse learning environment to enrich children's life experience, allowing children to learn independently from game activities, respecting their individual differences so that they can freely develop their potential, and build their basic life knowledge. Cultivate children's moral character, behavior and habits, with a view to nurturing the next generation with sound mind and body.

Education Program

The realization of ideal education allows children to grow in love. Through life-oriented learning, children can understand society, nature, and life through the exploration of the five senses and limbs; the cultivation of children's character is even more important, and learning Respecting people is also something children must learn.

The most important thing the kindergarten provides is to provide children with a warm, quiet, harmonious and safe space so that they can feel happy, warm, confident and safe. "Come to school happily" is what we value, and we also pursue:

  1. Self-Growth: Carefully plan courses that are suitable for children’s age and abilities, stimulate them to think creatively, and allow for multiple solutions to problems. In addition, we encourage children to set personal goals and work hard towards them to enhance their self-respect and identity and grow happily.
  2. Clarification of values: Through group life, children can understand the relationship between rights and obligations and strike a balance between their own needs and desires and those of others. Get what you want in a socially acceptable way and be willing to care and help others.
  3. Harmonious parent-child relationship: Establish a good communication channel and cooperative relationship between the kindergarten and parents, so that they can exchange experiences and reach consensus on the basis of mutual trust. Not only do teachers have a better understanding of the causes of children's behavior, but they can also use their professional experience and training to work with parents to work out feasible improvement measures.
  4. Awareness of individual differences: We take many opportunities to cultivate children's positive attitudes towards different ideas, cultures, religions, traditions, races, and genders. Through curriculum design, we ingrain understanding and respect for "individual differences" in children's hearts and teach them to tolerate different opinions. In addition, there are people with different cultures and different lifestyles in the world, and these differences all have their own value, and there is no distinction between high and low.
  5. Cultivating leadership skills and playing the role of supporter: Due to cultural reasons, our children often suppress or deny their emotions. In this regard, we adopt an education method of "have the courage to express your feelings, but learn to control your behavior" . At the same time, we believe that in group life, the roles of leader and supporter are equally important. Therefore, in addition to the perseverance of our reef island children to "conquer the environment," we also need to maintain the virtue of humility. Therefore, Xinmin’s children always face the future happily and confidently.
  6. Develop personal special skills: The development of personal special skills is closely related to the implementation of personal goals and the improvement of self-confidence and self-esteem. We provide children with rich and diversified choices so that they can have fun in learning, discover their own fun, and develop their potential.
  7. Happy learning environment: Through integrated facilities and learning, Xinmin hopes that all children can achieve the effect of entertaining and educating in a pleasant learning environment. What we emphasize is love and cooperation, not competition and comparison; what we look forward to is children with a balanced education and willingness to learn spontaneously, rather than super babies who are under pressure, perfect everything, and pursue victory.

The teachers of Xinmin Affiliated Kindergarten are professional preschool teachers. With their precious experience and rich professional knowledge, they have a deep understanding of how to design designs that take into account physiology, emotion, creativity, cognition, and society according to different age groups and individual needs. Children's education courses that can be fully studied at all levels can enhance children's mental abilities to face life and the future.
